Uniserve Personal Website Hosting
Your dial-up or ADSL High Speed Internet account includes a personal website called "MyPage". The website address
for your personal site is a function of the email name of your account. For example, if your email address is
jdoe@uniserve.com then your MyPage address is: http://mypage.uniserve.com/~jdoe. Each customer group has a different
format for personal website address. Please check the table below.
You must use a "FTP" program (File Transfer Protocol) to upload your website files to your personal webspace
directory. Most FTP programs will require three pieces of information in order to connect to upload to your personal
website.
- Username - same as your dial-up / email name
- Password - same as you use for dial-up / email
- Hostname - The following list shows the different hostnames by ISP.

Once you have connected you will need to following these steps
in order to get your website online on MyPage:
- Your website files must be uploaded to the following directory (note: directory name is case sensitive):
public_WWW
If this directory is not currently set-up, please create it. Your website files must be stored in the
directory by this name. Your website will be viewable if the directory name is misspelled or if the files are placed
elsewhere.
- The first page of your website must be named the same as one of the two options below. This will allow your website to
be accessed without specifying a filename.

home.html
- Please note that all filenames and directories on this server are case sensitive.
